This Drum Circle is our opportunity to share with so many the power of drumming to build community. Lions International has become extremely curious about how our drum circle has assisted us in building our community in the renewal of the Hostel and the mission of the Birch Bay Lions Club. The Public Relations Dept of Lions International is sending a editorial and video team to film and interview the drum circle. They want to sh...are with their 1.35 million members what it is all about. (Lions International is the largest service organization in the world and the only service organization holding with a seat with the United Nations.) This is a huge opportunity for those of us who strive to bring to the world a return of community, harmony and health, that want to walk the red road and live in service. The Drum Circle is family oriented and everyone is welcome. It welcomes drums from all nations. It welcomes those with no experience to experienced drummers. We do not have a lot of formality in our drum circle as we allow the drums to do the talking. Our weekly circle usually meets at 7 pm on Thursdays. This special circle will meet at 5:30, build the fire and begin drumming at 6. There is no charge. Alcohol & Drug Free. | |
