Volunteers: Gratitude to Western Washington Students for offering their time and energy. Kudos to Jim Coulter, Matt Schnackeenberg, Zane Carlton, Julie, Tyler Washam, Tyler Howard & Steven Doubles for donating their time cleaning and painting in November. Join us if you have an hour or many to help us create our clean, green, organic and conscious community.
Drum Circle: The Circle, "Drums by the Bay" is growing! Join us Thursday evening 7-9 pm in the hostel. By Donation. Everyone welcome. No experience needed and we have extra drums.
Artists: Community and visiting artists now have a working space/studio. If you are an artist and need space give us a call. Artists will begin mural painting within the next month. Still looking for artists wanting to contribute to the mural and decorative painting.
Group, Meeting, Retreat & Workshop Space: The hostel is ideal for groups up to 40. Larger groups can be accommodated in the adjacent Camp Horizon at Bay Horizon Park, a residential camp/conference facility at Bay Horizon Park .
Donations: Special thanks to the many who are coming forward to help us bring new life into the hostel. View Our list of needs and items we have to give away on our website. Our greatest need at this time are Chairs or stools, both stacking and folding.
Local Businesses: Please bring us your promotional material to display in our lobby and to have available to our Guests at the hostel. Maps, posters, coupons and special discounts are welcome.

Birch Bay Hostel and Guesthouse is a project of the Birch Bay Lions Club and successfully operates through the volunteer efforts of Community and Lions Club members. Proceeds from the Hostel benefit sight and hearing assistance and Lions Camp Horizon, a residential summer camp for people with special needs.
