Accommodation for BP Cherry Point Refinery Turnaround
BP is on schedule to perform a planned maintenance turnaround at the company's 200,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, Washington. The turnaround will begin in early April and is scheduled to last seven weeks.
Reservations and calls to the Birch Bay Hostel to provide accommodation during the turnaround at BP are keeping hostel staff busy getting rooms ready. In consideration of the long hours the contractors work the hostel is keeping it's doors open 24 hours a day and reconfiguring the beds to give each worker their own room rather than have dorms with three people per room.
With the hostel being only 2.5 miles to the Refinery makes it an easy 6 min drive.
Special rates for the turnaround crews - Call the Hostel for more info 360-371-2180
The self catering kitchen and large common area give the workers plenty of room to unwind and relax. Being located in a 68 acre park allows for a quiet and peaceful stay. Yet activities at the hostel can entertain and amuse and if they want to pick up a paint brush they can join in one of the art projects.
And if families of the workers want to come and visit for a day or two we have lots of room.
Located in the beach community of Birch Bay. 20 minutes to Ferndale and 10 minutes to the Canada-US border.
